Photographer

Photography is in my family roots. My dad gave me one of his film cameras as a teenager, which I took around my Los Angeles neighborhood on solo walks and hangouts with friends. My formal studies began at Campbell Hall and continued by earning my BA in Visual Arts with focuses in Photography and Art History at Bennington College. My speciality became black and white film photography. My skills were developed in historical processes, color film, and digital photography.

Most of my personal work is experiments in self portraiture. This project began in 2012 with a yearlong series capturing a portrait every day alongside a personal journal. The first 3 months were displayed in Bennington College preceding my final project utilizing contemporary large format photographs and handmade digital negatives made from historical photos from the Gettysburg battle field.

As a freelancer, I have developed photographic content for brands like Mala Prayer, Shanti Bowl, Cleres Beauty, Follain Skincare, Meow Meow Tweet, and more. I have also worked with Atlanta local yoga studios and teachers to create headshots and social media content.

Every photograph on my social media feeds have been created by me unless credited otherwise.
